The Creative Gallery #253

Sharing is caring!

Midway through October and finally the leaves are starting to turn and it’s feeling like fall. I want to say a huge thank you to all of you who messaged, commented and left reactions on social media to my news in last week’s Creative Gallery. It’s been an awesome and overwhelming time, but I’m so happy!

This week, in terms of the blog and DIY Passion, my focus is two-fold – getting ready for my appearance at The Clean Foundation’s Fix-It Fair next Saturday, October 21st at the Halifax Forum (watch for a full post soon explaining why it’s important for me to be there!) and, of course, our latest episode of In The Storyhouse where Jen and I interview Designer Shea McGee of Studio McGee.

You can catch the episode below, find us on Soundcloud and iTunes. (The full show notes are one post back as well)

And now, here’s the latest from DIY Passion this week:

This week, I blogged about a little tutorial for how to make a botanical stamped table runner. It was part of my Thanksgiving table setting – but people asked how I actually did it, so it’s short and sweet đŸ™‚

And now for some of my favorites from last week’s party:

This Curbside Dresser Makeover by Simply Beautiful by Angela is BEAUTIFUL. You have to see the before! And it plays nicely into my current theme of curbside finds đŸ™‚

This Burlap Wreath by OHANALEE Handmade Boutique for Grillo Designs is really pretty. It doesn’t look like the other burlap wreaths I’ve seen floating around the internet and it’s got a fabulous pumpkin spice colour!

Map on a Pumpkin by The Heathered Nest – complete with a video tutorial! LOVE THIS!

Let’s get our party on!
