Super simple, inexpensive and packing a decor punch? Yes please! In case you haven’t noticed, one of my goals for 2016 is to become more comfortable in the world of ‘crafting’ and to find ways to make crafts mesh with my decor. I highly doubt I’m going to be making macaroni art anytime soon, but I have managed to use basic craft supplies to create cute additions to our home lately.
Today, I’m going to show you how to make your own Marble Succulent Pots!
Everyone loves succulents right? I definitely do. I admit, I’m not the best at keeping them alive… but I still really love them.
In fact, I have a whole Pinterest Board devoted just to succulent projects if you want to follow along!
Here’s what you need:
- Terracotta Pots
- White Chalk Paint
- Marble Contact Paper
- Scissors
- Succulents!
Step one is to paint the top and inner rim of your pots with your white chalk paint. It doesn’t have to have a perfect line.
Step two … Cut a piece of your contact paper to fit around the bottom of your pot. Smooth it down, trim it with an X-acto knife and voila!
See?? Told you it was the EASIEST! π
Okay, the last step is to put your succulents into the pots.
I’m just so excited to have something new and fresh to put on my little desk in my new sunroom office nook. I also love that this craft was WAY less than an hour. It probably was 15 minutes all in π
Here are some other sweet little one hour crafts to try! (If I can do them, you can!)
