In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been on a bit of a money saving kick lately! I promise I’m working on a full reveal of Froggy’s nursery (it’s just taking me a bit longer than usual to get things finished these days), but in the meantime, I thought I’d share with you my best tips and tricks for saving money on baby decor. It was so important to me that I not overspend on silly things and keep the room fresh, fun and functional.
As some of you know, I also have another blog over at Yummy Mummy Club. I often share my pregnancy tips, stories and foibles with that group and reserve my DIYs and decor for DIY Passion. Today, I think the two worlds have collided. I’m not one for click-bait, so I PROMISE I won’t do this often. This just seemed like a time when my DIY readers would want to see the other stuff I wrote!

In case you missed our previous nursery posts:

Coming up in the nursery department, I’ve got the full reveal on the way and a little tutorial for how I made those adorable numbered bins. I’ve had quite a few questions about the artwork and letter display. So I think I’ll probably try to get going on a couple tutorials for those projects as well.
I’m hoping to be back sometime on the weekend with a fun craft project that might help you get organized for the school year and I’m also working on a bit of a refresher of our KonMari decluttering series. I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since we started ‘Sparking Joy’… I definitely feel lighter (metaphorically speaking, I mean, I am 8 and a half months pregnant!) and our house is ‘happier’. I hope you have a chance to stop back in to see those posts too.
Oh and re: the baby? Chubby and growing right on schedule! I’ve basically stopped sleeping and I have ridiculous rib pain, but otherwise, I’m in good spirits. We still have to wait to find out if Froggy will be born via C-section or not. Fingers crossed for a smooth and early delivery 🙂
Have a great week,
-E
