Now, let’s get this party started!
The Creative Gallery
Kristi at Making it in the Mountains
Emily at Our House Now a Home
Sarah at Making Joy & Pretty Things
Kelly at North Country Nest
Erin at DIY Passion
Gemma at The Sweetest Digs
And now, here’s the latest from DIY Passion this week:
I took part in the ‘There for the Making’ Challenge this month. It’s hosted by Sarah from Flourish & Knot and the premise is that you have to create something using things you already have around the house! The challenge really is to do the project for $0! This month, I transformed an old cupboard door into a faux sea glass mosaic tile tray for our outdoor space.
I also continued on my One Mind Challenge – this time delving into the eye opening experience I had while visiting a seaside resort with some blogger friends of mine. I’ve been finding it challenging to vision a new life for myself lately…and I came to some interesting and relieving conclusions. (In case you’ve missed it the One Mind Challenge is where I take a little break for DIYs and decor and dig a bit deeper into the things that are going on in my mind – the mind of a new mother, business owner, wife and friend in an ever interconnected world full of crazy expectations).
And now for some of my favorites from last week’s party:
I can’t even handle the strength shown in this post by Stephanie over at Mommyzoid. If you have children or know someone who has children, this is a must-read. (Side note: Steph is a friend of mine from Halifax and her boys had a play date at the library last week with Piper and it was basically the cutest thing ever amen…)
This strawberry-green smoothie recipe from Midwestern Mamma looks RIGHT up my Alley!!
Am I the only one who’s always wanted one of these pallet couches?! The Boondocks Blog makes it look pretty simple to do!
