The Creative Gallery #238

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful Canada Day/Independence Day weekend 🙂 We have been hanging out and working on a few projects in the house because it’s been super rainy!!! Oh no!! Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Tuesday at 930am EST because I’m back hosting Moms in the Morning on the YMC facebook page. I hope you can join me because I’ll be talking about Motherhood and Mental Illness. It’s sure to be a good broadcast.

But now it’s time for this week’s Link Party!

And now, here’s the latest from DIY Passion this week:

I started the week with an admission that I am ready to take my life and my blog and ME in an expanded direction. I’m so excited about what’s on the horizon. I hinted at it in Monday’s post and there is more coming in the next couple of months. Essentially, you can expect me to go back to my ‘happy’ place more often – which means live tv, audio and more ‘real’ discussions ALONG with decor. DIYs and decor are a happy place for me, but they aren’t my only happy place 🙂 It’s gonna be awesome.

Then I took you all on a tour of our TEENY TINY front entry. It has been a thorn in my side since we moved here – but I have found that keeping it simple, keeps it relatively tidy.

Then I ended the week with our Family and Finance series where I recounted how Dan and I dug ourselves out of six-figures in debt in less than five years. It was a hard post to write, but my hope is that we help some people who might be feeling helpless.

And now for some of my favorites from last week’s party:

I really like this tutorial for how to turn your existing cupboards into open shelving by In The New House!

These little Jar Lid Magnets by Kreativk are the cutest!

This mudroom-laundry room cubby system by Abbotts at Home is a fabulous project and would be amazing organization in almost any space where there are kids!

Let’s get our party on!

But first, just a few things to keep in mind…
