Pink Lemonade Scrub 1

Ingredients for Pink Lemonade DIY Body Scrub

Hello Everyone! My name is Kelsey and I am from theDIYdiary. I am a Graphic Designer turned DIY blogger. My blog is all about making custom and unique items without breaking the bank. I really love to promote creativity and I love to see everyone’s unique creations. Today I will be showing you how to make your own Pink Lemonade Body Scrub. This is the perfect to get your skin nice and soft for the beach and also makes a great gift! Let’s get started. You will need:

  •  1-cup of Sea Salt
  • 1/2 cup of Coconut Oil (in liquid form)
  •  Zest from 1 Lemon
  • Red Soap Colouring
  • Air Tight Container
  • Bowl

1. Begin by measuring out all of your ingredients and start to zest your lemon. The amount of zest you use is up to you but I found that using a whole lemon gave the best amount of smell.Pink Lemonade Scrub 32. Combine all your ingredients except the colouring in a bowl and mix. I recommend using a fork to mix it together as it acts as a whisk to combine everything more evenly.

3. Once everything is mixed, add in your soap colouring. I recommend using a soap colouring instead of a food colouring as it is meant for your skin and won’t cause any unnecessary dye. I used roughly 10 drops to achieve my pink colour.Pink Lemonade Scrub 4

4. Once everything is mixed distribute it into your container. I used little jelly jars that I bought at Michaels to hold mine. In a good container your mixture will last for 30 days.
I hope you enjoy this DIY and if you would like to see more DIY’s from me please go and check out my blog at: I would also love to see your creations, so you can send them to me via instagram or twitter @kelseyinkol.Have a fantastic day and thank you for reading!
