What does mid-February make you think of? Unique and Easy Metallic Orbs? Me too 😉
Listen…sometimes, you just need a simple, metallic, shiny craft to get you through the winter, amiright? Alright – so let’s make these orbs 🙂
Here’s what you need:
- Embroidery hoops – two for every orb you want to make
- Metallic spray paint – I used Krylon Brilliant Silver
Ummm…. that’s it! Told you it was easy!
Then just put one middle piece inside the other middle piece and then one of the outside pieces over top of that – it will already look like an orb. Then finish it off with the last outside piece. Structure it so that your orb has an ‘equator’ around the middle and perpendicular to that too. See?
Then put them out for all of their orb-y goodness. These puppies retail for about $20-$40 depending on where you see them, but these knock-offs cost me a grand total of $10 for two. Not too shabby for a gal who rotates her decor frequently 🙂
