Stocking Stuffer Ideas for the Kitchen Enthusiast & A Giveaway!

First things first…I really hope Dan doesn’t log into the blog this week to read this post 🙂 Why? Because I’ve been doing almost all his Christmas shopping online this year (being stuck inside most days with the wee Little Bird) and so I thought I’d share some of my finds with you!

As you know, Dan is the kitchen enthusiast in our house. I mean, I cook and I love cleaning the kitchen (<—I’m weird, I know!) but Dan L.O.V.E.S cooking. So I knew his stocking would be filled with fun kitchen gadgets and gizmos… because in the end, they do benefit me when he serves me an awesome meal, right? (Ahhh… the true spirit of Christmas lol)

Also in the true spirit of Christmas, Home Hardware is generously offering a $100 Gift Card to one of our lucky readers!! Make sure you scroll to the bottom of the post to read all the contest rules and enter using the Raffle widget!!

Ideas Under $10

Some years, Dan and I challenge each other to fill each other’s stockings only with things in the ‘Under $10’ category. It can be so hard to find good things that fall into that price range. But I managed to find quite a few this year!

I especially LOVE the egg poacher because Dan… err… I love poached eggs on toast in the mornings!

Ideas Under $40

Some years, like this one, we are only really doing stockings for each other, which means my budget is a little bit higher and I can pick out a few more things. There is a lot to choose from if you have $40 to spend! Here are my picks for Dan in this category.

Dan really likes to make a strong and earthy French Onion Soup on cold winter nights, but his current set of soup bowls broke! So these ones are a perfect replacement. The ‘professional’ whisk was actually a suggestion from my friend Emily at Table & Hearth – she is quite the cook as well and tells me that these flat bottom whisks are great for deglazing pans and such. I’m sure Dan’ll love it 🙂

Worth the Extra Dough

Just for the fun of it…oooh oooh oooh… for the – you get the idea 🙂 None of these last suggestions are budget busting, but they are a teensy bit more than the average stocking stuffer might be. HOWEVER, each is awesome, especially the SodaStream. We have this one and we use it all the time. And OH how I wish we’d had the milkshake maker when I was pregnant!! 🙂

Now is your chance to win $100 to spend at Home Hardware (in-store or online!) Enter using the Raffle widget below 🙂

I would love a microplaner in my stocking this year - so handy for zesting lemons.

I would be in trouble if I found the milkshake maker in my stocking! I have zero willpower with milkshakes!
