Thursday Trends – Shopping for Wall Art

Okay, so I’m going to try something new for the next few weeks. I do a lot of online shopping and I know the majority of you do as well. I’m pretty good about talking about things I’m considering or deals I’ve seen over on my InstaStories, but this new post series is me getting serious about actually sharing that info with you 🙂 I’m going to be rounding up four or five of the items ‘trending’ in my shopping cart each week! And, I’m also going to be digging around for special deals and discounts just for DIY Passion readers! Make sure to subscribe to my newsletter using the widget at the bottom of this post 🙂

If you’ve been following along, you’ll know I’m about to paint our giant living room wall and redesign the whole length. It’s a looooong wall and I’m considering lots of options from lighting to shelving to a new urban painting! What do you think?

One – Spadina Streetcar Painting // Two – WGX Geometric Shelf Brackets // Three – Globe Electric Wall Sconce // Four – Kleannex Metal Wall Organizer // Five – Umbra TRIGG Wall Planter

I’m basically in love with the Toronto streetcar print. I have an emotional attachment to the 501 Spadina – I think anyone who grew up in downtown Toronto will feel the same way. You basically couldn’t get anywhere without taking that route. When I close my eyes, I can still hear the clang of the bells. I don’t even think they do that anymore. But in my mind and memory, they do. The print is from and from right now until October 30th, Minted is offering DIY Passion readers 15% off holiday cards and free shipping when you use code HOLCARDS.

I’m hesitant on the wall planter, but I love the concept. I know I kill anything green and the light on that wall is not ideal. We shall see!

Stay tuned! Tomorrow, we’ve got an awesome new episode of In The Storyhouse coming up 🙂
